Senior Lecturer (Physiology) - Faculty of Medicine

The Senior Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, contributing to curriculum development, conducting research, and engaging in clinical training (where applicable) in support of the MBBS programme. This role requires a balance of teaching, research, and service responsibilities to ensure the academic excellence and professional development of future medical doctors.

Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, lab sessions, and clinical bedside teaching to MBBS students.
• Participate in the design, development, and revision of MBBS course materials and syllabi.
• Facilitate small‑group discussions, problem‑based learning (PBL), and clinical skills sessions.
• Contribute to student assessments including MCQs, OSCEs, case presentations, and logbooks.
• Supervise student research projects and provide academic advising and mentoring.
