Prepare full set of accounts, including journal entries, supporting schedules, management reports, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in reviewing financial reports for dormant and semi-active entities.
Support the preparation and submission of direct and indirect tax returns, including liaising with tax agents and compiling relevant tax information.
Coordinate audit-related matters, such as preparing audit schedules, reviewing financial statements, and communicating with external auditors.
Support treasury functions, including reviewing and processing payments.
Assist in matters related to e-invoicing implementation and compliance.
Contribute to process improvements by supporting the development of SOPs and implementation of new procedures.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members where necessary.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, MFRS, and BNM regulations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent. Related professional certificates like ACCA will be an added advantage.
4 - 6 years of relevant finance role preferably with supervisory experience.
Strong fundamentals in accounting, taxation, and finance.
Proficient in finance or accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
High attention to detail, strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
