Job Summary
- To assist the department in achieving monthly KPI targets.
- To provide support in sourcing for suitable and relevant parties in relation to short-term rental events, roadshows, campaign, and engagement activities.
- To assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events and promotions based on marketing campaigns, ensuring smooth operations and enhancing customer engagement.
- To work closely with internal departments, external vendors, tenants, and stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery that aligns with the mall's image and company objectives.
Duties and Responsibility
A) Event Planning and Coordination :
Assist in preparing event plans, including basic timelines, budgets, and resources under guidance from the senior executive.Coordinate logistical arrangements with internal teams and external vendors.Support in creating event marketing materials in collaboration with the marketing team.Conduct basic research to identify event opportunities and campaign trendsAssist in preparing proposals and presentations for potential business partners.B) Event Execution :
Support event setup, operations, and breakdown to ensure smooth event execution.Assist in coordinating with vendors and suppliers to meet deadlines.Handle guest lists, RSVPs, invitations, and on-ground engagement during events.Monitor event activities and escalate issues or challenges to the Manager promptly.Support supervision of part-timers, volunteers, or external organizers as assigned.Help organize interactive activities, contests, and entertainment to enhance shopper engagement.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.Assist in coordinating with authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses.C) Post-Event
Collect feedback and prepare basic reports on event outcomes.Help maintain good relationships with vendors, sponsors, communities, and local authorities.Provide administrative support in documenting agreements and partnership terms.Position Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication or relevant fields.Experience : 1 – 2 years experience in event planning, mall marketing, or related industry.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holiday, as events may require.
Skills / Competencies : Team player, able to work under supervision and independently when required. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attentive to details, organized and resourceful.Job Type : Full-time
