Job description

My client is a prominent Life Insurance company in Hong Kong, offering a wide range of insurance products and services to meet diverse customer needs. They are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to lead their innovative Life Underwriting team.

Job responsibilities :

Lead and drive initiatives for underwriting-related transformation projects
Strategize and implement innovative solutions to enhance underwriting processes
Lead teams in assessing new business applications and reviewing complex cases
Maintain sound relationships with stakeholders and provide quality customer service
Enhance workflows and systems for consistent underwriting decisions
Support the development and coaching of Underwriters

Job requirements :

Degree holder with professional insurance qualification like FLMI or ICA

15 years of experience in life insurance underwriting, with at least 8 years at a managerial level

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Sound leadership abilities, including the skill to inspire and oversee cross-functional teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
