About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Production Technician to join our dynamic team at Tatsumori (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. In this full‑time role based in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimising our production processes, ensuring we deliver high‑quality products to our customers consistently.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting on production equipment to maximise uptime and efficiency.
Monitor production machines, adjust processes to maintain quality and optimise output.
Assist in the installation and configuration of new production machinery and systems.
Work with the chargeman to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Provide technical support to production operators as needed.
Maintain detailed records and generate reports on production activities and equipment performance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and drive continuous technical improvement.
Assist the chargeman with electrical tasks when required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Production Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Good technical attitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.

Knowledge of technical processes.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Ability to understand technical schematics, manuals and documentation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
