Our client is seeking for an experienced HR Manager (Team Lead) to oversee a team within a centralised HR operations environment. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end HR processes including employee lifecycle activities, compensation-related transactions, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and a passion for operational excellence.
Salary : up to RM7000
Location : Melaka
Key responsibilities :
Oversee and lead a team responsible for HR operational support, including employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exits.
Manage and ensure timely execution of HR-related payments including joining bonuses, completion incentives, salary adjustments, and other contractual entitlements.
Ensure all HR transactions are processed accurately and comply with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation or digital tools to drive efficiency within HR operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and prepare regular reports on staff movement, compensation, and team performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including payroll, finance, and HR business partners to ensure seamless execution of processes.
Manage relationships with external vendors or service providers related to HR support activities.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and ongoing support to team members, including conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional development.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, shared services, or payroll environments.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate) is a plus.
Experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday is an added advantage.
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent written and spoken English is required.
