Job Summary

We’re seeking a Financial Accountant (based in Kuala Lumpur) to assist in establishing Group Accounting SSC operations, including regional account handovers and monthly consolidation. Proficient in Oracle Fusion (FA, procurement, intercompany, GL), data analysis, and process optimization. Must have 3+ years’ cross-border finance experience, US GAAP knowledge, strong English skills, and teamwork. SOP development and reconciliation expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group accounting SSC in establishing operations from scratch which primarily includes but is not limited to the handover of accounts among various regions of the group and the subsequent submission and review of monthly closing data from each region at the group consolidation level.
• Proficient in using the Oracle Fusion system for accounting processes, mainly including modules such as fixed assets, procurement, intercompany accounting and general accounting.
• Highly skilled in using Office and Google application, adept at utilizing various software and systems to complete the processing, integration, analysis and review of financial data. Able to allocate team resources effectively, streamline and continuously improve the SSC processes, and strive for maximum efficiency within a given time.
• Based on daily work content and consideration of the situations of other team members, assist the LM in establishing a set of standardized accounting SSC processes in the form of SOPs.
• Able to communicate fluently in English to maintain good communication with global departments.
• Perform other temporary tasks as assigned.
