Job descriptionAssist doctors during patient examinations, providing necessary tools or instruments. Measure and record patients’ vital signs , such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height. Administer basic medical procedures (e.g., blood collection, urine samples) under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Monitor and maintain clinic stock levels, including medical supplies, equipment, and medications. Order and replenish inventory when necessary, ensuring the clinic has adequate supplies. Keep records of stock and assist in ensuring proper storage and handling of medications and medical equipment. Assist in managing medical records, including filing and retrieving patient files. Handle basic clerical tasks, including faxing, photocopying, and data entry. Coordinate with other healthcare staff to ensure smooth operation of the clinic. Help prepare reports and documents for insurance purposes or patient referrals.
Patient Registration and Administration
- Manage patient appointment scheduling and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Process patient insurance claims and billing information.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, offering assistance as needed.
