TINKA KINDERGARTEN BUKIT JELUTONG (OPEN POSITION)

TEACHER 3,4,5,6 Years Old

Requirements and Skills :

• Patience and flexibility.
• Loves children, friendly and cheerful.
• Interested in teaching children.
• Creative and artistic teaching abilities.
• Able to work in a team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Familiar with KSPK and yearly theme.
• Willing to learn new approaches in teaching and handling children.

Education Level :

Minimum : SPM, Diploma OR Degree in Early Childhood Education from accredited public or private university or any other degree that is relevant.

Has at least 1-2 years experience in related fields.

Bonus point if you are familiar with the LearningBox Education syllabus and already have experience working in a kindergarten or nursery.

Field of Study :

SPM, Diploma in Early Childhood Education OR Degree in Early Childhood Education or any diploma or degree.

Responsibilities :

To create and follow a complete lesson plan or to use a school lesson plan.

To keep lessons fresh, engaging, and interesting.

To teach basic academic skills such as the alphabet, phonics, colours, shapes, and number recognition according to KSPK.

To teach compulsory Islamic Studies.

To guide the children in developing personal, social, and emotional skills.

To organise learning materials and resources.

To regularly communicate with parents about children’s progress.

To assess children’s abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.

To evaluate children’s performance and progress.

To monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing.

To cooperate with the administration staff

To adhere and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations.

To do student reports every month.

To participate in events organised by the school.

Assist in minimum own class cleaning.

Assist in helping potty training own class children if needed or in absence of an assistant teacher.

Assist with showering and napping time and feeding time of full day students if needed or in absence of an assistant teacher.

To assist in children's activities during daycare sessions according to schedule.

To create own or shared content of student activities in class or outside class for Tinka social media platform everyday or as instructed by the leader.

To attend all training provided by management and PPD & MOE.

To assist in preparation and marketing of the school for events and field trips and promotional activities.

To attend walk-in customers even though it is on break time.

2. WORKING HOURS

The schedule of normal working hours and working days is as follows :

Days Working Hours

Shift 1 : Monday - Friday 07.00 am - 05.00 pm

Shift 2 : Monday - Friday 07.30 am - 06.00 pm

Shift 2 : Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 06.00 pm

Lunch / Break Hours 01.00 pm - 03.00 pm

(In case of in need of meeting, management shall call upon during break time)

3. OVERTIME

Overtime is only payable if the hours of work is carried out in excess of 15 minutes (half hour) per day after 6.15 pm according to the OT sheet submitted and approved.

4. ANNUAL LEAVE

You are entitled to fifteen (15) days annual leave for every completed year of your appointment. Your leave will be prorated in your first year.

5. MEDICAL / SICK LEAVE

You are eligible for paid leave of fourteen (14) days per calendar year. In the event of hospitalisation, the hospital leave shall be sixty (60) days per calendar year less the number of days taken as sick leave.

6. MEDICAL BENEFITS

You shall be entitled to free medical consultations and medicine prescribed by the medical doctor approved by the Management as per the Company policies.

Language required & Level (beginner / intermediate / advanced) :

Bahasa Malaysia (Advanced)

English (Intermediate / Advanced)

Drivers licence (optional) : Optional.

Contract Type (Permanent / temporary / part-time / contract / internship) : Permanent with 3 months probationary period.

Hours per week (Normal Hours / 3 shift time / 2 shift time / flexible hours / night shift) :

Monday to Friday (8.00 am to 6.00 pm)

OT is available based on basic salary.

Salary : Starting at RM 1900++ (including RM 100 parking allowance) and depends on your working experience.
