Job Summary

Job Description : Short Description

  • Responsible for departmental administrative work.
  • Responsible for scanning, filing and housekeeping of documentation and records.
  • Processing, check and verification of accounting transactions.
  • Assists in the accounting function i.e. preparation of monthly management account, data analysis and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • To assist the department & managers in day-to-day operation & administrative work include but not limited to general photocopying and document scanning.
  • To prepare PRF, memos, letters, documents, minutes of meeting, presentation materials and reports in accordance to SOP.
  • To archive, store and control Finance documents and records for audits and Finance references.
  • To schedule and organize meeting with internal & external parties for Finance department.
  • To assist daily operations of accounting data processing, check and verification.
  • To assist monthly closing of financial accounts and analysis.
  • Liaising with staff from project sites, other departments or interrelated companies on any information / documents required and reconciliation.
  • Reconcile inter-company / project balances and creditors reconciliation.
  • Checking and / or issuance of debit notes, credit notes, inter project memos, payment vouchers, journal vouchers, sales invoices, etc.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company.
  • Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate or Diploma holder with min 3 years working experience or equivalents.
  • SPM school leavers with min 5 years working experience and able to handle full set of account is encouraged to apply.
  • Skills & Abilities

  • Good communication skills & knowledge in administration work.
  • Organized and details oriented
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competence in Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Competent in spoken & written English.
  • Able to work independently, proactive, confident, initiative and good communication skills.
  • Expected Minimum Years of Experience

  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Experience with SAP-S4Hana system will be an added advantage.
