STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to engage a Store Operator to join our Warehouse department.
The job holder will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and specialized items, including flammable, chemical, and cold store materials. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of materials to support uninterrupted production and maintenance operations. The Store Operator will maintain inventory accuracy, enforce safety compliance, and collaborate with various departments to optimize warehouse efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Accurate receipt verification, inventory recording in SAP EWMS, regular stock counts, stock monitoring, systematic organization, and FIFO implementation to ensure inventory accuracy and timely availability.
Proper storage and segregation of materials, safe handling of hazardous items, efficient use of warehouse equipment, and maintenance of cleanliness and safety.
Preparation and issuance of materials based on approved requisitions, verification for accuracy, prioritization of urgent requests, and detailed record-keeping.
Strict adherence to safety protocols, proper labeling and storage of hazardous materials, regular safety inspections, and active participation in safety training.
Maintenance of accurate records, timely reporting of inventory and operational data, and documentation of discrepancies and safety incidents.
Collaboration with procurement, production, maintenance, and quality teams, communication with suppliers and logistics, audit support, and contribution to process improvements.
Routine checks and maintenance of warehouse equipment, reporting malfunctions, and ensuring proper calibration of temperature monitoring devices.
Enforcement of strict access control and fire safety in flammable stores, segregation and spill readiness in chemical stores, and vigilant temperature monitoring in cold stores.
