We are seeking a talented individual to join our Accounting Operations team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS) . This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day accounting functions and processes, including the reporting of financial information according to accounting principles, practices and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and approve offshore journal entries, consolidated statements and client carrier reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve customer accounts / insurers / reinsurers issues and respond to queries raised by Country Finance, broker or underwriters.
• Analyze, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, balance‑sheet accounts and administrative systems.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports; duties may also include required regulatory reporting.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations (including bank and inter‑office reconciliations) on a timely basis and resolve reconciling and unreconciling items.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests for financial information and provide operational analysis using various reporting tools, consistent with a global business leader.
