IT Administrator (m / f / d)

Based in Kuala Lumpur

We are looking for a skilled IT Administrator to join our interdisciplinary project-based support team, working alongside Software Developers, Database Administrators, and IT Administrators. This role is essential in maintaining, optimizing, and securing IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration between various technical domains. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer, maintain, and optimize IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure and manage VMware virtualization environments for efficient resource utilization.
• Support and maintain Windows Server environments, including security updates, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux operating systems, ensuring stability and security.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software development, database, IT support) to align IT infrastructure with business and application needs.
• Support second-level troubleshooting and escalations, working closely with first- and third-level teams when needed.
• Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages and tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient operations.
• Contribute to IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, security enhancements, and process automation.
