Key Responsibilities
- Manage a group of entities and monitor the compliance of statutory and regulatory deadlines in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act, Labuan Companies Act, VCPE practical guide and other relevant regulatory authorities.
- Handle corporate secretarial matters and ensure the proper maintenance and updating of statutory records and notifications in compliance with the abovementioned regulatory authorities.
- Timely communication with external company secretary for company secretarial related matters.
- Dealing and handling e-filing with the Securities Commission of Malaysia and other regulatory bodies.
- Dealing with auditors and tax agents for financial statements and tax filing related matters.
- Dealing with bank officers for bank account opening and other bank account related matters.
- Assist in KYC / Due Diligence enquiries.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, HR, and other business functions to align governance processes with operational objectives.
- Any ad-hoc assignments and provide general support to management as required.
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience in corporate secretarial work gained in corporate services firms, in-house corporate secretarial teams, law firms and / or venture capital / private equity firms.Familiar with the regulatory requirements and legislation of the Labuan Financial Services Authority and Securities Commission of Malaysia would be an advantage.Must be able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion and integrity.Detail-oriented, responsible and capable of working independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Able to manage complex and voluminous workload without compromising on responsiveness and quality.Good communication skills both spoken and written in English and Chinese to liaise, develop and maintain close working relationships with internal stakeholders (including those in overseas offices) to meet the Group’s internal governance.Highly proficient in MS Office applications would be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
