Overview
Senior Construction Scheduler at NTT DATA, Inc. is responsible for reviewing and analyzing General Contractors’ schedules and reporting schedule health to the Director, Global Scheduling and other stakeholders. This role involves working closely with NTT’s Construction Team and General Contractors to ensure scheduling best practices across the program, analyzing schedule delays via Time Impact Analysis, and providing data-driven input to support NTT’s predictability. The role includes collecting as-built data and developing schedule standards and benchmarks with the scheduling team.
What You'll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities :
- Leads the baseline establishment efforts by partnering with NTT’s general contractors.
- Reviews General Contractors’ project schedules to identify potential concerns / issues with a focus on mitigation.
- Develops monthly internal reports and communicates schedule risks with project stakeholders.
- Creates schedule what-if scenarios to influence and drive decision making.
- Creates and maintains high-level internal schedules and ensures NTT delivers the planned capacity on time.
- Communicates schedule health with project key stakeholders.
- Implements scheduling best practices and drives standardization across the program.
- Develops scheduling key performance indicators and creates scheduling dashboards. Communicate schedule health with the project key stakeholders.
- Reviews Time Impact Analysis and provides feedback to the construction team and general contractors.
- Partners closely with NTT GDCA preconstruction, design, supply chain, and project management to plan the project and maintain control through the project life cycle.
- Leads schedule meetings with the construction team and general contractors.
- Performs any other related task as required.
Knowledge and Attributes
Fully versed in critical path scheduling requirements for construction projects.Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.Advanced demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to understand, build, and approve / accept schedules produced by contractors.Experience with earned value management and ability to utilize it in internal reporting.Experience in reviewing time impact analysis and recovery schedules.Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities based on business needs.Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.Capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Ability to clearly set and lead meetings to develop strong project control systems.Ability to integrate data from P6 into Power BI dashboards.Ability to be highly confidential.Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Ability to work in a team environment.Manages stress and / or fast pace effectively.Advanced analytical, creative thinking, written and verbal communication skills.Academic Qualifications and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or engineering.At least 10 years of experience in construction scheduling responsibilities, including schedule development, analysis, earned value analysis, and forensic scheduling.Experience with Data Centers or high-tech construction projects is preferred.PSP or PMP certification is preferred.Working Conditions
Standard office; Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises; extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.This role is remote with occasional on-site and / or construction jobsite presence.Special Requirements
Ability to travel up to 25%.Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license.Workplace Type
