Position : Resident Engineer

Location : Malaysia (Onsite)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Note : This will be 1 yr contrat role which may be extended depends on your performance

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain data center and workplace server systems.
• Configure and support VMware vCenter, ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM / AHV environments.
• Monitor infrastructure using tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Site24x7.
• Administer Linux servers and web tools (Nginx, HAProxy, Tomcat).
• Automate tasks using Python or Shell scripting.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Establish SOPs, documentation, and operational standards.
• Coordinate remote and distributed teams across regions.
• Ensure secure and stable operation of all systems.
• Handle server design, planning, deployment, and maintenance projects.
