SME Banker (Account Relationship Manager)
The Account Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of SME or commercial clients by offering tailored financial solutions. The role involves both sales and relationship management , with a strong focus on credit assessment , risk management , and customer service excellence .
Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage a portfolio of SME clients across various industries
- Provide tailored financial solutions including loans, deposits, global markets and trade finance
- Conduct credit assessments and prepare financing proposals
- Monitor account performance and ensure timely reviews and renewals
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients to support their business growth
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive product penetration
- Collaborate with internal teams (credit, operations, product specialists) to deliver seamless service
- Stay updated on market trends and client needs to offer relevant solutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
- Actively participate in business development campaigns and networking events
Skills & Qualifications
FRESH GRADUATES encouraged to applyDegree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.Strong understanding of SME banking products and services.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with ability to assess financial statements and creditworthiness.Passion for client engagement and business growthExperience in banking or financial services is preferred.Seniority Level
