• Responsible for supplier development, selection, assessment, and evaluation, and the placement of purchase orders.
• Managed the submission, tracking, and confirmation of supplier samples, as well as the submission, cross-functional review, and approval of PPAP documentation.
• Executed the signing of agreements with new suppliers, including NDAs, integrity agreements, packaging confirmations, supply contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Maintained and updated the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Handled returns and replacements due to supplier quality issues, and pursued quality claims and corrective actions.
• Conducted supplier performance evaluations and drove continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinated and executed daily purchasing operations.
• Make periodic visits to suppliers if necessary
