We are hiring a Head of Product to own our product vision, roadmap, and execution across our B2B platform and mobile experience.
This role reports directly to the CEO.
Role Purpose
Lead the product function to deliver a world‑class English testing experience — trusted by institutions and loved by learners — while accelerating our AI capability and aligning our platform with the broader British Council product ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive product strategy, priorities, and roadmap.
- Lead B2B product development and deliver a best‑in‑class institutional experience (target NPS >
80).
Oversee mobile product direction; ensure a seamless, high‑trust test‑taker journey.Integrate AI and GenAI enhancements into the product to improve accuracy, automation, and user experience.Partner with Engineering to deliver reliability, performance, and velocity at scale.Work closely with Global Development Team (sales, account manager) to align on market needs, support key opportunities, and translate feedback into product improvements.Lead UX and research practices; embed a data‑driven approach to product decisions.Manage Product Ops (QA, feedback loops, operational readiness); ensure disciplined execution and release quality.Champion EnglishScore’s role within the broader British Council ecosystem and drive product alignment.12‑Month Success Indicators

Mature product rituals and metrics in place (roadmapping, discovery, OKRs, release QA).Strong cross‑functional partnership with Engineering, Sales, and Ops.Hiring plan activated for PMs / UX as scale increases.Experience & Skills
8+ years product management experience, including leadership roles.Demonstrated success shipping mobile products at scale (iOS / Android).Experience building learner or test‑taker journeys or similar high‑trust flows.Strong B2B product and enterprise workflow understanding.Ability to operate between startup pace and institutional rigor.Strong analytics capability and structured decision‑making.Excellent communication skills; able to influence at senior level.Experience with AI / ML product features is an advantage.How You Work
