Job descriptionAt least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity A degree in Communications, Mass Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or Public Relations Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Versatility in multi-tasking and leading campaigns Knowledge of best practices in Communications, Public Relations, and Media Relations Social media savvy and proficiency in advertising on social media platforms Strong relationships with the media fraternity and networking skills Ability to work well under pressure and interact effectively at all levels Salary : RM9,000.00 Allowance : RM160.00 Travelling allowance : RM500.00 (for managers only) Outpatient treatment : unlimited for staff and extended to family members with a limit Hospitalization : RM50,000.00 per year (pay and claim basis) Specialist treatment : RM10,000 per year Dental allowance : RM300.00 per year Parking : provided
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing award submissions, supporting CSR initiatives, and maintaining the company's brand presence. Key responsibilities include :
- Overseeing award submissions and coordinating with relevant departments to meet award criteria
- Supporting CSR initiatives and working with the CSR team to publicize materials in a timely manner
- Sourcing corporate gifts for the media and maintaining a keen eye for design
- Overseeing the website and corporate profile to ensure accurate and timely information
- Ensuring marketing materials are verified and in line with the brand portfolio
- Maintaining excellent relationships with the media and publicizing articles as needed
- Maintaining the brand presence on social media platforms and advertising when necessary
- Ensuring crisis control and avoiding outward publicity
- Leading customer engagement events and working closely with suppliers and third parties
- Building and developing investor relations to increase confidence in the company
- Overseeing company communication needs, including media management, public relations, and online presence
