Overview
Position for Construction Division (Site Based) with locations including Kapar Selangor, Johor Bahru, Penang Islands / Mainland, and Klang Valley. The role focuses on monitoring and administering contracts and sub-contract works, managing project documentation, and ensuring effective cost control and progress tracking for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and administer various contracts and sub-contract works, including preparing progress reports, recommending payments, issuing variation order certificates, and finalizing accounts documentation.
- Verify material requisitions, take-off quantities, and site measurements of completed work.
- Prepare progress claims and invoices for clients and consultants to support effective project management.
- Prepare, call, and evaluate tenders as well as value variation orders.
- Negotiate building and material costs with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage the processing of claims from consultants and subcontractors related to project matters.
