Quality Assurance and Control Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

Ensure quality across all engineering activities (CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Process piping, Exhaust, etc.).

Lead and participate in QA / QC meetings (OAC, alignment, internal).

Manage and resolve quality issues with stakeholders (System / Area / Tools Owners, authorities).

Oversee inspections : material receiving (MRI), installation, completion, final handover, FAT, and mock-ups.

Verify testing devices calibration and compliance.

Conduct site inspections for MEP, HVAC, cleanroom, piping, and electrical systems per ITP.

Review and approve Work Method Statements (WMS / MOS), shop drawings, and ensure execution per requirements.

Track and close Site Observation Records (SOR) and punch lists within agreed timelines.

Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly QAQC reports.

Maintain strong documentation (test packs, QA / QC reports).

Collaborate with safety teams to ensure zero incidents and uninterrupted production.

Ensure client acceptance and satisfaction during project handover.

Job Requirements :

Language : Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is mandatory; knowledge of Chinese is an added advantage.

Location : Must be able to travel to Indonesia with readiness to travel to project sites.

Education : Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).

Experience : Minimum 2 years of QA / QC experience in construction, MEP, or cleanroom / industrial projects.

Technical Knowledge :

Familiarity with CSA, MEP, HVAC, cleanroom, process piping, and electrical systems.

Knowledge of ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), WMS / MOS (Work Method Statements), and shop drawings.

Quality Standards : Strong understanding of ISO standards, Green Building standards (e.g., Singapore Green Mark / LEED preferred), and local regulations.
