Job description

Responsibilities

  • Cold Kitchen Leadership : Serve as the primary leader responsible for all Cold Kitchen duties, including prepping, plating, and quality control of items such as waffles, cakes, pastries, snacks, desserts and other cold station related components.
  • Preparation and Efficiency : Efficiently execute preparation and mise en place for all cold station items to ensure readiness for service periods.
  • Head Chef Assistance : Provide specialized support to the Head Chef by assisting with preparation of certain components and other culinary tasks as directed and trained.
  • Hygiene and Standards : Strictly maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper hygiene standard for the entire Cold Kitchen area and equipment. Also, follow and adhere to the assigned SOPs provided by the company.
  • Inventory and Stocks : Assist in monitoring inventory of the cafe (All Stations), notifying the team of stock levels to ensure all are aligned and aware. Ensuring proper storage and rotation of perishable goods.

Requirements

  • Availability : Must be available to work Full-Time, Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Experience and Skills : Proven experience or strong aptitude for high-volume food preparation, minor bakings, or pastry work as well as assisting teammates whenever needed.
  • Attributes : Dedicated, highly responsible, and able to work independently while also maintaining effective teamwork and communication with others to ensure a smooth and healthy work environment for all.
