Tupel 3D is a fast-growing company specialising in the design and manufacture of precision 3D scanners. With strong international sales and growing demand, we are now building our team in Malaysia and looking for talented graduates to join us.

Job Description

As a Production Engineer, you will play an active role in the assembly and production of our 3D scanners and other products. This role is highly practical and requires strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. While the main focus is on production, you may also have opportunities to be involved in research and development activities for future products. As part of a small team, you will also assist in other areas of the business when required, gaining broad exposure across engineering and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle practical tasks such as soldering, wiring, 3D printing, and working with electronic components.
  • Assemble and test 3D scanners and other products, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Carry out QC / QA checks on finished products.
  • Diagnose and repair scanners or components when issues are identified.
  • Prepare units for shipment and assist with documentation.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to optimise the production process.
  • Support colleagues across different areas of the business when needed.
  • May be involved in R&D activities for future products depending on business needs.
  • Provide technical support to customers when required.

Requirements

  • Engineering graduate or diploma holder, ideally with some production or assembly experience.
  • Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently.
  • Practical skills with hand tools, soldering, and electronics.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
  • Eagerness to be part of a small, dynamic team and contribute where needed.
