FULL SET ACCOUNTANT – JOB SCOPE
Daily Accounting Operations
Record daily financial transactions (AR / AP, journals, bank transactions)
Maintain general ledger (GL)
Prepare debit / credit notes and journal entries
Manage petty cash and staff claims
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Issue invoices to customers
Monitor payment collections
Follow up on outstanding payments
Reconcile customer statements
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process supplier invoices
Verify and match purchase orders, DOs, and invoices
Schedule and prepare payments
Reconcile creditor statements
Bank & Cash Management
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Monitor cash flow position
Maintain and reconcile company bank accounts
Monthly & Year-End Closing
Prepare monthly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Perform monthly accruals, depreciation, and adjustments
Reconcile GL accounts (AR / AP / Bank / Fixed Assets)
Prepare and close full set of accounts
Audit & External Liaison
Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, company secretary, and banks
Respond to audit queries and finalize audit reports
Others
Maintain fixed asset register
Ensure proper document filing and data backup
Develop or improve accounting policies and internal controls
Qualifications & Skills
Education : Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
Certifications (preferred) : LCCI, ACCA, CPA, MIA member
Software : Proficient in Master Accounting, SQL, AutoCount etc.
Soft Skills : Accuracy, confidentiality, time management, and communication skills
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : RM2, RM4,500.00 per month
