The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and age‑appropriate Spanish lessons for children in EYFS and Primary.
  • Inspire curiosity, confidence, and enjoyment in learning a new language through stories, songs, play, and interactive activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported in their language journey.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, provide feedback, and inform future learning.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider team to integrate Spanish into broader curriculum themes where appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering open communication and trust.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, cultural events, and performances that celebrate diversity and global citizenship.
  • Model and promote the values and ethos of BSKL and Nord Anglia Education, encouraging every child to be ambitious, kind, and confident.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified and experienced language teacher with a passion for teaching and learning, strong classroom practice, and the ability to inspire, engage, and support all students to achieve their potential.

About You

You will be a fitting ambassador for the school, communicating with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will adapt quickly to our fast‑paced international environment and meet visa‑related restrictions for Malaysia.
