Job descriptionResponsible for all activity carried out in the facility support.- To conduct daily health checks on the data centre facilities & common facilities.- To perform 1st level troubleshooting whenever there is a problem in the data centre & common facilities.- To ensure that technical issues are resolved within the time frame.- To ensure that calls are attended timely and solved up to customer satisfaction.- To ensure that the configuration management system is strictly followed.- To follow the documented quality system and ensure that it is followed by all employees.- To follow documented information security management system and ensure that it is followed by all employees.- To review records of user requirements, testing and delivery area.- Responsible for preparation of all the inspection and test plans.- To make necessary arrangements for customer / third party inspection, if any.- To carry out final inspection and testing of the products as per test plan including BCP.- To verify that the data backed up in the event of server crash or in a routine case is accurate and the latest.- Carry out condition-based monitoring and preventive detection of any issues on electrical installation and machine electrical equipment and report accordingly to immediate superior.- To ensure that necessary inspection is completed, and results are matching with specifications- To ensure that all the inspection and test records are maintained at all stages to show evidence of conformity to specified requirements.- Ensure that Critical Operations function fulfills the response time and down time as stated in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with vendor as well as customer ends.- Ensure that all incidents and breakdowns are fully attended to and solved within a given timeline.- Assist in planning and carrying out all preventive and corrective maintenance but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and civil and structure on timely basis.- Assist and formalize work shut down procedures and normalize procedures for all mechanical and electrical facilities in line with electricity supply act especially for low voltage system.- Ensure that the Data Centre (DC) comply with all the relevant authorities of Malaysia.- Advise and supervise breakdown work even after working hours and on rest day.- To assist and coordinate with Facility Engineer and Supervisors in attending and providing solutions to problems related, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical in facilities. Report to manager or supervisor on a regular basis pertaining to daily operations and working together to solve day-to-day operational problems.- To carry out Facility Engineer duties and works in a good and proper manner, in order to maintain a good relationship with the customers.- Any duties as assigned from time to time.
Authority : - To review and authorize the routine records of the development.- To stop the non-conformity.- To take disposal action on the non-conformity. - To help in implementing ISO : 27001 system in the department.- To take corrective and preventive actions identified based on analysis.- To review and authorize the inspection / verification and test records - Authorize for review and approve all applicable records.
