Research And Development Manager

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Manages the business by developing client network. Understanding the client's problem and suggesting appropriate solutions. Develop and improve company's product line to changing market conditions. Publishing quality papers and patents to showcase company's technologies & capabilities. Meeting business and budget targets.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

• Adhere to Deleum and / or customer's QHSE requirements.
• Adhere to Deleum Code of Business Conduct.
• Comply with the requirements of competence management system. Performance Base on Competency Program (PBCP).
• Meeting the client to understand the problem.
• Analyze field problem with engineering estimation and modelling.
• Suggest use of available products with appropriate lab tests and demonstration.
• Keeps updated on oilfield problem by literature survey and attending seminars / workshops.
• Develop new products and improves the existing ones.
• Guides subordinates in lab and analysis work.
• Ensure that the lab equipment / instruments are in ready to use condition and well calibrated.
• Finalizing technical papers and patents for publication.
• Supports operations by interpreting lab results and preparation of technical proposal.
• Participates in preparing commercial proposals.
• Helps operations in procurement of raw material.
• Overall lab management to ensure smooth function of lab in terms of instrument, lab chemicals and glassware availability,
• HSE Responsible to plan, deliver and maintain proper management systems (ISO 9001 & ISO to ensure the effectiveness of the implemented system. Ensure all operations adhere to Deleum and Client's HSE requirement.
• Preparation and monitoring budget CAPEX / OPEX
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Superior.
