Job description

Manage and oversee full sets of accounts in line with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and statutory requirements.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Supervise project-based accounting and reporting, including grants and donor-funded projects.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient in SQL Accounting Software and Microsoft 365 .
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry or non-profit sector is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments when required.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience , ideally spanning both commercial and non-profit environments.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA ) preferred.
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and leading accounting processes.
