Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve support tickets raised
  • Oversee and verify automated batch jobs running overnight
  • Generate and validate start-of-day (SOD) files to ensure systems are prepared for trading and operations
  • Monitor overall system health to spot unusual behavior or breakdowns in processing workflows
  • Quickly and clearly escalate unresolved or critical issues to the appropriate teams
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions for smooth handover, tracking, and audit purposes

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Min. 1 year of hands-on work in tech or software , ideally involving backend tasks or user / system support
  • Practical experience with relational databases such as MySQL
  • Proficiency across several areas, including Java with a framework like Spring
  • Linux / Unix
  • Working with containers and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Kafka
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin
