Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
1-3 years experience in IT infrastructure or system support.
Familiar with Windows Server, Veeam, PRTG, and SSL certificate management.
Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Able to perform after-hours or weekend maintenance when required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

hands-on IT Infrastructure Support staff to assist the infrastructure team in managing system operations, server lifecycle, backup monitoring, and DR readiness across the offices.

This role supports day-to-day operational stability, ensuring server environments remain compliant, patched, and properly documented.

Key Responsibilities

Manage server and network equipment write-off and disposal for our offices.

Assist in Windows patch deployment, including staging preparation and reboot scheduling.

Monitor Veeam backup status, perform tape rotation, and review free space logs.

Conduct daily and weekly PRTG and backup verification, flag anomalies, and prepare summary reports.

Track SSL certificate expiry and coordinate renewals via EnterpriseOps or automation scripts.

Research and explore cloud services (e.g. containerization, cloud security, scalability options).

Assess and document Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, ensuring all applications and systems are covered, including internet bandwidth sufficiency.

Ensure Veeam backup replication from production servers to HQ is functioning as an offline backup.
