We are looking for a

Technical Consultant II, Power & New Energy

to join our team in

Kuala Lumpur . The role responsibilities include : Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver on key responsibilities in an assignment under tight deadlines. Draft written communication including reports, presentations, contractual letters and project plans. Analyze technical problems and solve them; experience in conceptual design of power and electrical engineering systems and equipment is needed. Perform data / risk / business / financial analysis and integrate large volumes of data from various sources to create reports. Participate in client meetings. Contribute to the development of a safe and healthy workplace. What you’ll have

Experience in power generation design, techno-commercial evaluation of bids, proposals and tender submissions; Lender technical advisory for project financial close and project finance. Experience in project execution in power generation using gas to power, biomass fuels, renewables (wind / solar / waste to energy), and co-generation. Experience in supporting the development of Power Projects (Gas to Power, Biomass, Waste to Energy, solar and Geothermal); Lenders Technical Advisory with banks for successful project financial close is preferred. Technical support to project manager during tender evaluation, negotiation, and project implementation on site including erection and commissioning. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Confidence in dealing with senior people in organizations. A proactive approach to project delivery and business development. Collaborative team player with research skills. Flexible and adaptable, able to operate in different ways in different situations. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3-8 years of experience in Consulting and / or EPC in a reputed international organization. Candidates with a double degree in engineering or experience with Renewable Energy projects are looked upon favorably. Experience in providing project and business solutions to clients in the infrastructure and resources sectors is highly preferable. Why you should apply
