Overview

Fullstack Developer (Spring Boot & React.js) – SCIENTE, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and React.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Must have minimum 7 years of professional experience in fullstack development
  • Must have strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot for backend development
  • Must have proficiency in React.js for frontend development
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)

Desired Skills

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools and frameworks (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills

    • Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using Spring Boot and React.js
  • Implement responsive, high-performance, and reusable UI components in React.js
  • Develop robust backend services, APIs, and business logic with Spring Boot
  • Integrate front-end components with back-end systems and databases
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, QA, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit / integration tests, and maintain coding best practices
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance development efficiency
