- Ensure smooth operation of MT4 / MT5 platforms and associated systems (training provided).
- Install, configure, manage, and maintain all components of the MetaTrader 485 server infrastructure (Live, Demo, and Backup servers) to ensure high availability and stability.
- Proactively monitor platform performance, latency, and resource utilization using specialized monitoring tools, and conduct regular stress tests.
- Act as the Tier 2 / 3 escalation point to diagnose and rapidly resolve platform issues, including connectivity problems, data feed interruptions, execution errors, and server malfunctions.
- Plan, test, and execute necessary system upgrades, patches, and version updates for the MetaTrader platforms and its underlying operating systems, minimizing disruption to trading services.
- Implement and regularly test data backup procedures and disaster recovery (DR) protocols to ensure business continuity and minimize data loss risk.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform configurations, operational procedures, monitoring guides, and incident response protocols.
- Coordinate with software developers and external vendors for the integration, testing, and deployment of new features, custom plugins, and platform enhancements.
- Document and review current operational procedures (SOPs) for key platform activities (e.g., symbol creation, account management, server changes) and conduct periodic reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify manual, time‑consuming tasks within the MetaTrader Administration workflows and develop proposals or solutions for their automation, improving overall operational efficiency and reducing human effort.
- Maintain functionality of additional components like Bridges / Hubs, FIX API, plugins, and external tools.
- Assist in managing database systems, networking, and operating systems (Windows).
- Perform full end‑to‑end audits of trading systems and applications. Define, propose, and facilitate the implementation of all resulting control and system enhancements.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or a related field.Interest in the financial industry, experience with MT4 / MTS or managing electronic trading platforms (e.g., FIX engines, matching engines, order management systems (OMS), or execution management systems (EMS)) is preferred.Experience in integrating and managing Liquidity Provider (LP) bridges / gateways (e.g., FIX API or other third‑party bridges) is preferred.IT support experience in the financial sector is a plus.Familiarity with AWS, Windows / Linux / Unix environments, and a working knowledge of SQL will be considered an advantage.Exceptional ability to identify control gaps, analyze complex trading process failures, and recommend effective, practical remediation actions.Fresh graduates from non‑IT backgrounds are welcome to apply.Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse global team.Working Hours
This is a full‑time position requiring 40 hours per week. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 2 : 00 PM–11 : 00 PM MST, which includes a one‑hour lunch break.Note : Occasional flexibility or extended hours may be required during peak periods, system upgrades, or critical incident resolution.
