(B) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Financial reporting : Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and deadlines. Oversee the full set of accounts, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR), and review financial data for potential impairment.
- Financial analysis : Conduct variance analysis between budgets and actual performance, analyze financial trends, and provide insights to support decision‑making.
- Budgeting and forecasting : Coordinate the annual budgeting process and assist with periodic forecasts.
- Cash flow management : Manage cash flow, ensure liquidity, and handle day‑to‑day treasury and banking activities.
- Compliance : Ensure the company's financial records and reporting comply with internal policies, SOPs, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Auditing and tax : Liaise with external auditors and tax agents, and assist with tax computations and filings.
- Asset management : Manage fixed assets and inventories.
- Internal controls : Implement and maintain internal controls.
- Financial advice : Provide financial advice to senior management and the board of directors.
- Supervise junior finance staff and oversee departmental training.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by management.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics with at least 5 years working experience in a similar field.Professional qualifications as a CFA / CPA are an added advantage.(E) PERSONAL TRAITS – Essential qualities for the successful performance of the job
