Job description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and delivery of IT infrastructure projects
Administration and support of the Company’s LAN and WAN infrastructure
Administration and capacity management of the Company’s server farms
Monitor and administer data center infrastructure (SAN / NAS storage, EMS, core switches, clusters)
Perform System and Security Administration (Active Directory, AS / 400, Email services, Firewall, VMWare, patch management)
Perform tests on disaster recovery procedures and readiness
Maintain up-to-date hardware and software records in inventory system, including maintenance renewals
Provide 1st & 2nd level Desktop / Notebook support inclusive of I.M.A.C (Install, Move, Add, Change) and relevant business systems as and when required
Carry out daily backups and ensure backup media are stored securely, including offsite locations
Prepare capital expenditure / purchase requisition for procurement of hardware, software and services

Requirements

Advance Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent

Minimum 5 years working experience in troubleshooting PC hardware and software

Technical experience in LAN / WAN is an added advantage

Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact with users at all levels

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a good team player
