Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and delivery of IT infrastructure projects
  • Administration and support of the Company’s LAN and WAN infrastructure
  • Administration and capacity management of the Company’s server farms
  • Monitor and administer data center infrastructure (SAN / NAS storage, EMS, core switches, clusters)
  • Perform System and Security Administration (Active Directory, AS / 400, Email services, Firewall, VMWare, patch management)
  • Perform tests on disaster recovery procedures and readiness
  • Maintain up-to-date hardware and software records in inventory system, including maintenance renewals
  • Provide 1st & 2nd level Desktop / Notebook support inclusive of I.M.A.C (Install, Move, Add, Change) and relevant business systems as and when required
  • Carry out daily backups and ensure backup media are stored securely, including offsite locations
  • Prepare capital expenditure / purchase requisition for procurement of hardware, software and services

Requirements

  • Advance Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in troubleshooting PC hardware and software
  • Technical experience in LAN / WAN is an added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact with users at all levels
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a good team player
