The Job
As a Corporate Secretarial Manager , your primary duty will be responsible for the corporate compliance, governance and administration of companies and corporations in compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s (" Bursa Securities ") Listing Requirements.
What You Will Be Accountable For
- Attending meetings of the Board and Shareholders, and other relevant meetings as may be required
- Keeping abreast with the developments in company laws, including the relevant regulations and best practices
- Reviewing resolutions, minutes, statutory notices and all work prepared by subordinates
- Leading and mentoring subordinates
- Managing clients’ statutory records, ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and any other regulatory requirements such as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Listing Requirements, etc.
- Monitoring and working with clients on set deadlines
- Advising clients on compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Listing Requirements and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Being the lead contact point for auditors, business professionals and regulatory bodies for clients
- Planning, maintaining and marketing our services
- Monitoring and working on collection of receivables from clients
To Be Successful In This Role, You Need To Have
Qualified ACIS with minimum 5 years of experience in company secretarial service provider line handling public listed company workWell-versed with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Listing Requirements, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, best practices in corporate governance and practices and other relevant laws and regulationsAble to handle portfolio of clients independently and provide technical support to subordinatesAble to manage and lead an established team of company secretarial professionalsSelf-motivated, performance-driven, analytical, meticulous, multi-tasker and strong interpersonal skillsGood command of English language and business writing skillsWhat’s In It For You
