Job Responsibilities (Mainly focusing on Accounts Receivable) :
- Collect operational data and participate in costing projects.
- Provide timely variance analysis and develop action plans to address discrepancies.
- Review projects with Cost Centre Managers, reporting on costs and benefits by product, and supporting cost control activities.
- Support realignment and improvements in accounting systems and inventory procedures to facilitate costing projects.
- Review inventory costs regularly.
- Assess capital investments and their payback periods.
- Handle daily accounting entries and record-keeping.
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents.
- Ensure efficient processing of accounts payable / receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare payment documents, cheques, and related paperwork.
- Manage daily collections, official receipts issuance, bank deposits, and collections reporting.
