Job Responsibilities :
- Perform mechanical assembly of machines, equipment, and system components according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
- Assemble and fit mechanical parts such as frames, panels, piping, brackets, actuators, and other precision components for automation / control systems.
- Conduct alignment, fitting, and adjustment to ensure assembled parts meet dimensional and functional requirements.
- Record assembly issues and provide timely feedback to engineers and supervisors to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers during machine / system integration and commissioning phases.
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assembly tools, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize waste and improve resource utilization.
- Adhere to 6S workplace practices and company safety standards during all assembly activities.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site installation works as required.
- Carry out additional tasks or project support as assigned by the department manager.
Job Requirements :
Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, or related field.Minimum 5 years of working experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in system integration, automation equipment, or machinery industry.Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams.Hands-on experience in using assembly tools, torque tools, measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, or motion control systems is an advantage.Forklift license and driving skills will be an added advantage.Location : Pasir Gudang, Johor
Salary Range : RM 3,500 - 6,000
