About the job Senior Drilling Engineer / Drilling Engineer

A technical degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
A minimum of 12 years experience or equivalent in drilling engineering with full life cycle (well design to rig execution) experience and exposure to drilling rig operations.
A minimum of 2 exploration deepwater (>

500m) life-cycle experience as the project engineer.

Familiar with Governing Standards and Malaysia regulatory requirements for a PSC.

At least 2 years of contracting and tendering management within a PSC setup.

Fluent in English language both Writing & Spoken.

Experienced with various well designs in the deepwater, HPHT, MPD and ERD projects.

Experienced in a multi-cultural and multi-national team setting.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Experienced in exploration well DST planning.

Possess the competency of industry-recognized drilling engineering software for well trajectory, advanced casing and tubing design, hydraulics, torque & drag simulation (e.g. Landmark, Oliasoft) and operations reporting software.

BOSIET and IWCF Well Control Certificate Course (Subsea Supervisor level).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
