Sales Engineer – Job Overview
The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing technical and commercial solutions to customers. This role bridges the gap between engineering knowledge and customer needs to deliver the best solution in terms of design, performance, and cost.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience in industrial products or engineering services (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia.
- Basic knowledge in AutoCAD or reading technical drawings is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.Promote Nutech’s range of products—warehouse racking systems, steel pallets, and lubricants.Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial proposals.Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents.Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to ensure project accuracy and timely delivery.Conduct site visits, measurements, and assessments when required.Follow up on quotations, negotiate sales, and close deals.Monitor project progress and maintain post‑sales customer satisfaction.Report weekly sales activities, pipeline, and forecast to management.Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and potential business sectors.Competitive basic salary and commission scheme.Training and development opportunities.Career growth in a dynamic and expanding company.Supportive and collaborative working environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
