Job description

Wenzel Logistics (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and pro-active personnel to join our Team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting background and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, you are welcome to join us

Job Description :

  • Able to do jobs costing.
  • Able to track jobs handled by Operations Team based on information in system.
  • Follow up with operations team as and when needed.
  • Monitor jobs by ETD, cross check volume captured in system and job file.
  • Cross check the billing and quotations to customers and ensure it tallies.
  • To ensure job files are locked by the deadline given by Company (every month 6th)
  • To check buying cost and cost paid.
  • Assist to perform the month-end closing activities.
  • Able to work independently with positive attitude approach.
  • Perform any other related duties as and when requested by the superior.

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / Transportation / Business Administration / Finance / Cost Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 1 - 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Familiar with any Accounting Software would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in shipping terms and familiar with freight forwarding industry is essential.
  • Meticulous, detail oriented and good with numbers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and deal with sensitive and confidential information and related documents.
  • Applicant must be willing to work at Bukit Tinggi, Klang.
  • Preferably able to start immediately or within short notice will be an added advantage.
