Overview

Meltwater Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant role located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with responsibilities across Malaysia and contributions to hiring for Greater China and broader APAC markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across Malaysia, Greater China and Southeast Asia Delivery Services and Sales functions, including attraction / advertising, job descriptions, market mapping, direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback, and offer preparation for approval and execution.
  • Collaborate with regional hiring leaders to understand requirements, provide coaching on the recruitment process, and address evolving talent needs of each country.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience by briefing candidates on interview stages at every step.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including universities in key geographies, to build an external talent pipeline and fulfill hiring needs.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring processes.
  • Contribute to global projects aimed at enhancing the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), employer brand, hiring manager training, and candidate experience.
  • Be part of a global team, contributing to culture and mentoring others across regions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years of corporate or agency recruiting experience with exposure to multiple countries and cultures.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment with growth goals and a commitment to diverse talent.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and tight deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Experience recruiting for Delivery Services and Sales roles.
  • Experience with recruitment strategy, talent attraction techniques, and direct sourcing in the APAC market.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills and interest in global reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented problem-solver.
  • Collaborative, open to feedback and new ideas.
  • Comfortable in an agile, global environment.
  • Proficient Mandarin and English communication skills to support Mandarin-speaking markets.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule (office 2 days a week).
  • Ability to legally work in the country of hire.
