About the job : ASP.NET Software Developer

Nationality : Prefer Malaysian Chinese, but resumes from Malaysian Indian are also welcome for review by the Hiring Manager.

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working Hours : 9 : 30 AM - 6 : 30 PM (GMT +8)

Salary Range : USD 1,050 - USD 1,575 / month (approx. RM5,000 - RM7,500)

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the ASP.NET framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and software design discussions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform technology decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements.
  • Document technical specifications, deployment instructions, and system architecture.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an ASP.NET developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in C# and the ASP.NET framework.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database design.
  • Knowledge of web services and API integration.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with MVC and / or Web API frameworks.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of software testing practices and tools.

    • Additional experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Docker, containerisation technologies, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Docker registries, and micro-services architecture is preferred.

    Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is preferable.
