Overview

We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Payments Product Manager to join our dynamic Transaction Banking team in Malaysia. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our payments product portfolio, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our Malaysian corporate and institutional clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the payments product portfolio for Malaysia, including domestic and cross-border payments, collections, and virtual accounts.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and development.
  • Develop and execute a product roadmap aligned with business strategy, focusing on growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead the product development process, working closely with internal stakeholders like product development, sales, marketing, and compliance.
  • Oversee product launches and go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful adoption by Malaysian clients.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends impacting payments in Malaysia.
  • Partner with sales teams to understand client needs and tailor solutions for the Malaysian market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners in the Malaysian payments ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in product management, preferably within the payments products in transaction banking team.
  • Proven track record of successfully launched and managed payments products.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian payments landscape and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in conducting market research and competitor analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
