Overview
Air Products Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative SAP Finance Master Data Specialist to join our global Finance SAP Center of Excellence. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will support financial master data governance and operations across SAP ECC, while preparing for our future migration to SAP S / 4HANA. The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP FI / CO expertise, a passion for data quality, and experience with automation and AI-driven process improvements. Familiarity with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SAP finance master data objects including cost centers, profit centers, GL accounts, and company codes
- Ensure master data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with global standards and internal controls
- Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to support SAP ECC operations and prepare for S / 4HANA migration
- Apply automation and AI tools to streamline master data processes and enhance data quality
- Support SAP RAR-related master data requirements and integration
- Participate in SAP projects including enhancements, upgrades, and data migration activities
- Conduct regular data audits and cleansing activities to ensure high data integrity
- Document master data processes and provide guidance and training to business users
- Foster strong working relationships across regions and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in SAP Finance (FI / CO), with a focus on master data managementExperience working in SAP ECC and preparedness to support S / 4HANA migration; familiarity with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)Strong understanding of master data governance and integration across SAP modulesExperience with automation and AI tools (e.g., SAP Intelligent RPA, machine learning models, or similar technologies)Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural, global team environmentConfidence and initiative : able to work independently while engaging in constructive dialogue with professionalism and respectPreferred Skills

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur and reports directly to the Director of Finance SAP COE in the United States.
