The incumbent will assist the Area Manager in overseeing the central workshop and guiding the maintenance team to perform maintenance and reliability-related functions efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Operations

Support and execute maintenance tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Contribute to turnaround management and introduce effective maintenance techniques.
  • Analyze maintenance demands and recommend improvements to avoid delays.
  • Investigate maintenance issues and develop action plans considering cost, downtime, and material availability.
  • Workshop Management

    • Upgrade and maintain workshop facilities.

  • Guide supervisors and technicians in establishing best maintenance practices.
  • Reliability Engineering

    • Conduct root cause failure analysis to prevent recurrence.

  • Develop and maintain a lessons-learned database for operations and maintenance teams.
  • Training & Development

    • Design and implement training plans for maintenance personnel.

  • Conduct proficiency tests and establish systems for managing critical maintenance activities.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations and maintenance within chemical industrial gases or manufacturing environments.
