Overview

Director, Global Safety & Health at Micron Technology leads the global safety and health strategy to safeguard employees worldwide. The role manages cross-functional teams, ensures compliance with international regulations, and fosters a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a global safety and health strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives.
• Program Development & Oversight : Develop and manage global safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention.
• Compliance & Regulatory Affairs : Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at the international, national, and local levels.
• Incident Management : Lead investigations of safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions.
• Engagement with Collaborators : Work with site leaders, HR, legal, and operations to integrate safety and health into business processes.
• Coordinate global safety training programs.
• Establish benchmarks and dashboards to monitor safety performance.
