Job Description
- Supporting Business Growth : Assist P&L Head in expanding and developing DIMKUL Ocean Freight team in alignment with strategic business plan.
- Operational & Service Excellence : Oversee customer service and operations activities, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs to deliver exceptional service quality.
- Team Development : Build a high-performing, collaborative team through effective communication and integration.
- Carrier Relationship Management : Strengthen relationship with ocean carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
- Financial Accuracy : Ensure timely billing and costing to support accurate month‑end financial reporting.
- Profitability & Strategy Alignment : Monitor cost‑to‑sales ratios and accounts receivable to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and profitability goals.
- Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, quality assurance certifications, and risk management protocols.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in ocean freight operations and customer service.Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs procedures and shipping documentation in Malaysia.Proven ability to lead and manage team effectively.Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.Proficient in logistics systems (Sealnet, MyCIEDS) and Microsoft Office tools.Company
