Job Description

  • Supporting Business Growth : Assist P&L Head in expanding and developing DIMKUL Ocean Freight team in alignment with strategic business plan.
  • Operational & Service Excellence : Oversee customer service and operations activities, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs to deliver exceptional service quality.
  • Team Development : Build a high-performing, collaborative team through effective communication and integration.
  • Carrier Relationship Management : Strengthen relationship with ocean carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
  • Financial Accuracy : Ensure timely billing and costing to support accurate month‑end financial reporting.
  • Profitability & Strategy Alignment : Monitor cost‑to‑sales ratios and accounts receivable to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and profitability goals.
  • Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, quality assurance certifications, and risk management protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ocean freight operations and customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs procedures and shipping documentation in Malaysia.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage team effectively.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in logistics systems (Sealnet, MyCIEDS) and Microsoft Office tools.
