Experienced Associate - Data Engineer at PwC

How will you value-add? As an Experienced Associate, you will work with a team of problem solvers and Subject Matter Experts to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to :

  • Foundational Knowledge of Technology : Demonstrates foundational knowledge of technology concepts and applications and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems. Stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements.

Responsibilities

As part of the role, you will contribute to data and analytics initiatives across client engagements, leveraging digital solutions and data-driven approaches to help clients rethink operating models and strategies.

  • Apply foundational technology knowledge to real-world problems within client engagements.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver data-focused solutions and actionable insights.
  • Support data management, analytics, and automation initiatives as part of broader advisory work.
  • About you

    We recognize that ideal candidates may come from diverse backgrounds. Possessing the majority of the qualifications below is desired but not mandatory.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in disciplines with analytical / quantitative components (e.g., Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Software Engineering).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the data industry.
  • Passion for technology with experience in areas such as :
  • Data : Foundations of data structures, databases, data processing; experience with data management frameworks, data governance, security, quality, and architecture; Big data and cloud technologies; data integration and management; ETL tools; API management; data quality tools.
  • Analytics : Analytical methods, large language models, ML, automation; data analytics and digital transformation projects; BI tools and programming languages (SQL, NoSQL, Python, R, SAS, etc.); data storytelling and visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Technologies : Emerging technologies (GenAI, Blockchain), solution architecture (cloud / app development / integration), enterprise apps (CRM, ERP); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; project management; business consultancy and advisory experience.
  • People skills : Excellent communication and presentation, client service mindset, and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
